This scenario is a based on the mythos of Warcraft, specifically the information attained through playing World of Warcraft that I myself engaged in, with a few additions. The sides are Arthas, the Forsaken, Night Elves, Orcs, Kalimdor Humans, Stormcity Humans, Dwarves, and Goblins based in Booty Bay. All the Dungeons from the game have been laid out in the Caverns, and contain valuable treasure and loot, but are heavily guarded. Numerous text events and mini-quests abound above and below ground. Almost all hero pictures and all Leader pictures are from WoW or WoW artwork. Basically, if you like WoW and AoW, then hopefully you will like this map.This is the first work of closer762 for Upatch 1.4 but already is fabulous artwork. Check it out here:
There are 8 races as you see in the image which are pretty well balance in starting forces. Wizards are all sphere specialists.
In original map, the wizard tower is level 2, I modified it to level 1 to avoid overlap. In the PBEM version, most of Area guards underground or on the surface are set to guards. They are either put to key passage so that you will have to confront them to continue or guards some structures that might give you good use (healing site; income structures). There are still one or two important locations where I set area guards to average/strong, but not overpowered as being area guard. It means if you can make your way to that location, you will be able to deal with them with ease.
The guards' strength has also been tweaked to be less strong with the purpose of encouraging players' exploration desire. You will miss a great party of fun in the map if you confront each other right at the very first days.
