Explanation of Money Mechanic
Most characters in this game either possess, or can obtain various amounts of money in different ways. You received information about your financial situation at the beginning of the game. At the beginning of each night and day phase, you will receive an e-mail from me reminding you how much money you have at the start of that phase. Some characters also advertise certain goods or services at night and sell those goods or services at night. If you wish to purchase a certain good or service, you must e-mail me what good or service you wish to purchase at the beginning of the night phase. YOU MUST ACTUALLY HAVE THE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF MONEY ADVERTISED FOR A PARTICULAR GOOD OR SERVICE AT THE TIME YOU E-MAIL YOUR REQUEST. Any player who lacks the money will have their request disregarded, and repeated attempts to do this may result in modkill. If there is a bidding process for a particular good or service, you will be informed by me via e-mail at the beginning of the night phase what your bid is and how many other people are bidding for that good or service. You may then send in a new bid to me directly. I will inform the merchant of all bids via e-mail. At any point, the merchant may choose to accept any bid from any player. The player who receives the good or service will immediately be notified and all other bidders will be refunded any and all bids they made as well as informed that they did not win the good or service.
