We all love AoC. Why else would we be here? Why else would you be reading this thread?
With the seemingly less projects dominating the 1st page of SD&M, whether it be your work is not far along enough to post in the "Current Projects" thread, or even to have a thread of its' own. Why not give us a snippet of what you're working on?! Campaigns, Scenarios, Mods, anything!

It could be your big project, a side project, if you're just kicking back playing an RM or MP game or your favourite Campaign.
Even just messing around in the editor or Poser? I would love to see your raw works, or what you're up to in the world of AoC. Think of it as an "Instagram" for Age of Empires.

Standing anchor is almost fixed.are there Any other problems?Also, Does anyone know what this can be used as?
Can be used as a bandit I think if you change the shield to a arabic looking one it can make a middle eastern unit.

I just downloaded an AOE scenario (.scx file), put it into my scenarios folder, and opened it in Conquerors. All the units were wrong, including the trees, but it had the base terrain. They'll probably be a lot of work to fix, but maybe your AOE scenarios aren't gone for good?

@Brainless:
I just downloaded an AOE scenario (.scx file), put it into my scenarios folder, and opened it in Conquerors. All the units were wrong, including the trees, but it had the base terrain. They'll probably be a lot of work to fix, but maybe your AOE scenarios aren't gone for good?

Yes that looks good perhaps you can do a little color change to make it look more unique.Maybe change the blue parts of the body to white color and change the black head to player color.

well, that depends on what type of game you like.
It is good for slow, long and peaceful game. It is hard to grow, boom, or rush.

Personally i wish i had ludicrous map size. This is gigantic and it still feels too small for this type of map.
Best would be umlimited map size... i would shape it all

A testing mod to see how snow11 1000+ framed units work in game so far no crashes but higher framed actions are extremely slow.

First line champions and albs behind them huskarls and Tk's.Last row woad raiders and berserkers on the side tarkens.

Hei Mahazona, I resized some graphics of the snow11 units, and also cut down the giant amount of frame, now they are normally units, same height of other units with more or less 50-100 frame per action, using a 1350 frames for attacking mean that you'll be able to deal only an hit to a unit meanwhile it get at least 6-8 attacks, by risking death...

Yes you are right and the animations look really slow due to the massive amount of frames.I just quickly did this to check his units not a real mod at all.The best thing I like about these units is that they have a running animation also which Im using for the secondary walk.If the standing can be made it to 2 slp's we can have different standing animations as well.

I really want to have a mod with units with all 8 sided animations both or more unit movements someday.

Im very curios to know what the original idea for having 3 entries for unit movements.If you see the walk graphic entire has 3 animations set W0 W1 and WN but only WN has a real slp number.

Here you have Mahazona, the result in my own mod!

As you can see, the graphic animation change randomly, so a formation of the same soldiers is much various than all the same robot breathing troops!

This unit, is a Knjaz, replace the 2H Swordsman for Russian civ!

I resized the Snow11's graphics by reducing of 10% the size of each frame, then, with the SLP editor fixed the anchor and selected only a set of animation per graphic, the result:

~ Units is no more tallest than vanilla units;
~ Frame rate fixed in order to don't show the unit too much fast or slow;
~ Both standing graphics contains 270 frames total, 54 each sides;
~ Dying graphic contains 145 frames, 29 each sides;
~ Walking graphics contains 95 frames, 19 each sides;
~ Attacking graphic contains 110 frames, 22 each sides;
~ The corpse is the same as all other units;
~The Knjaz get 0.15 range in order to simulate a much realistic attack instead of attacking void behind the enemy's back like spearmen and pikemen does;
~ Corresponding unit's icon from the original game;
~ Icon recolored to showing player colour;
~ TO BE DONE=Place player colour on the unit.

@Affa looks great exactly what I had in mind ad well.
@Tzon yes it would have taken him lot of time the staning it self is 1000+ frames and the games slows down when you have more than 500 units on the map.

If there were more units by snow I could have finished up a total conversion with TWR units barrack set is pretty much completed.

I believe the 0 graphic was intended for seperate shadows, many buildings have it. What the 1 graphic was about can only be guessed, but the blacksmith and the dock use it for managing the animated and unanimated parts.

If you look at siege weapons, more of those slots are actually used. WN has a static frame of the whole unit, while W1 shows animated wheels. The war wagon's horses are done similarly.

After alot of researches in the forums,I developed a way to convert civ3 units just with FLICster and GIMP.With this trick I converted some frames of Mailed spearman by embryodead

This needs some resizing,Can some one tell me how much percentage?Also it`s frame count is 15frames/1angle,Will it cause crashes?

It wont crash the game and 15 per side is a very small number.You dont need to resize them they look fine in game only issue is the cavalry are really small and the units run instead of walking.
