Hello dear community

This is my Sandbox Remake Project.
Im happy to share with you all my Sandbox maps which I created with love & patience.

In this post you can see the titles of these maps along with their download links & bitmaps. This Topic will be updated eachtime a new Sandbox map has been uploaded by me.

Philosophy of Design:
As usually I try to create very detailed maps and Im trying to utilize all element of the Map Editor.
>>> All maps have have the full range of recources, 4 Food Types, Clay/Barley/Flax/Reeds/Copper/Wood/Stones/Gold and sometimes Henna
>>> All Maps have 15-20 Trading cities on the Kingdom Map with full trading capacity (4000 units per year)
>>> Kingdom Maps has been realistically & historically designed
>>> Some maps have preset Production Zones and Monument positions
>>> The convertion of an existing map to Sandbox ,often leads to a completely new map
>>> I am also converting my Custom Campaign Maps into Sandbox..

So, you can consider my maps as sandboxish, and what I've figured out for the mining is that's it's best if the rocks are 2 wide and checkered regular and gold/ore baring. also, if you feel like it, you can remake the few maps I've uploaded into sandbox maps. (I really got to upload all my other maps. but I'z lazy)

Hey Maydayp

I have dowloaded some of your nice sandboxmaps,too. Yes its even more effective when stone/ore is two lines thick, tho in some scenarios i decided against it and keep it simple but in other i created the qube(2x2) which is the most effective.
More detailed: 2x2 = 9 mines around it, ratio= 1stone/ore=2.25 mines.
I have achieved also an even higher ratio by laying the stone/ore pieces in diagonal manner, the ratio grows then to 3 mines per stone/ore piece.

So, your post gave me the motivation to add more of my files to the site, and upload the rest to my google drive (that way I don't lose them like I have before).
