well, i am trying to put a new gr2 file in AOE III , look like it:

but i make a xml suing the monster truck and look like it:

anyone know how put it? i see that a guy called jboo add more gr2 files to the game.....

P.S: i dont know yet how put textures in the model using the granny viewer........

Getting a model in game will only work when you're extremely fortunate, adding a texture won't work with Granny Viewer, simply because it's just a viewer, and nothing more...

First of all, where did you take that model? If you took it from another game, there should be its texture too somewhere...

i try using something tutorial for put texture in themodel and SURPRISE! work in granny viewer with the texture!

First of all, where did you take that model? If you took it from another game, there should be its texture too somewhere...
I'm guessing Churchill Tank from Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts. (which is a brilliant RTS, I'm bound to say).

No, you don't... Everyone can get a texture to show up in Granny Viewer, but that's not adding it to the model, so the game would recognise it (were it to recognise your 3d model in the first place). So I'm affraid I have to tell you you're not a yard closer.

but, if you took it from company of heroes, it must have a texture, otherwise it would appear blach in the game, so why creating a texture for it? if you look in the granny viewer the texture list there is the destination folder of its textures, so copy those textures in a folder with the same destination...

What software are you using to create the models, and how did you import these AND get the skins working? IIRC The_Assimilator couldn't get the textures working for his teapot:
Gr2 exporter for 3ds max without skins

HAHA omg thats sweet...... I never even thought of importing a granny file from another game, I always thought I would need a REALLY expensive program to make one to get a new model in the game.

It doesn't shoot, does it? Just move around and kill people in the vicinity, I presume... Still, very nice work, and perhaps some hope for the modding future.
