Monk tries to fill the void, just like the old days, but he lacks the glint and sparkle he once had and still has, but in a slighty lower regard.

Where is the playful and the Monk who liked to frolic? More of this please, or I shall take my commerce else where if a rival is to show their head.

That is not the point.

The fact is you have modelled yourself a oppressive dictator as you call yourself �the master�. We have just finished with a thread where one young boy delusions of grandeur ended up putting himself in a supreme position of regality in a feeble attempt to subject us to his regime in an effort to make the thread more amusing. The Monk we all know and love has his attitude based on the virtues of humour, non-sequitors, and a hap-hazard way of posting fuelled by the need to make others around him laugh in a manner that will cause social interaction and more inter-forummer frolicking.

In short, the self-styled image of oppressive Monk does not work. We want the Monk of old, the one we all loved with his insights into random life.

Less hierarchy. More humour.

I'm sorry, the old monk fell to the temptations of the dark side. And there was always a raving egomaniac lurching slighly beneath the surface, he just had the sense to disguise himself a little less thinly.
