How do I whisper to someone on ESO?
Type "/name message", i.e. /gloryofsparta hello.

Where can I find a stats tracker for original AoM, since Holbert is put down?
Over at Planet AoM.

Where can I find the overall AoM:TT Community stats, such as most common god etc.?
The DoC Clan Site.

Eager to watch your own stats? Replace "aom" in the white field on the very top of the page with your ESO name.

Can I unpause the game when the enemy pauses?
Yes, simply hit the "Pause - Break" key on your keyboard. It is generally located at the top-right.

Is my graphics card compatible with AoM / AoM:TT?
The cards supported by AoM / AoM:TT are listed here.

The textures of my units don't correspond to those I've seen at screenshots around the net! Why is it that my units are grey?
Make sure that you’ve put High Graphics on (found on the Options tab). However, using High Graphics on older / slower systems may evolve a heavy lag.

I have researched the "Secrets of the Titans" technology, but the Titan Gate button doesn't show up beneath my God Powers bar!
The older versions of mods like Enhanced Tooltips don't support certain features in AoM:TT. Get rid of the mods, and replace them with versions compatible with AoM:TT.

How do I disable the intro cinematic that plays when you start up AoM / AoM:TT?
Make a shortcut leading to the ”AoM” and / or ”AoMX” .exe files found in your AoM directory, and put them on e.g your desktop. Then right-click the shortcut, and add the following to the end of the text already in the "Target" box:

" +NoIntroCinematics"

(including the space, without quotes).

Where can I download the Enhanced Villager Stats (villager counter tool), Stat Uploader (a must have if you encounter the 2.4 error), AoM Recorded Games Manager and Enhanced Tooltips utilities?
Over at MFO and AoT Sanctuary.

Although the Enhanced Villager Stats is an excellent tool to let one to keep track of the villagers, one can also hover the mouse pointer over the resource bar in the lower-left corner to keep track of how many villagers you currently have on that resource, without having the utility installed.

XSith_Lord has created his own roll-over help tool for original AoM, it doesn't work in AoM:TT. It can be found here.

There's another Recorded Games Manager over at PaoM, which is very easy to use.

How do I rotate the camera?
Make sure camera rotation is enabled on the Options tab. Once it's enabled, you can use your mouse wheel or CTRL + arrow keys to rotate the camera.

I want to create good-looking pictures for my guide, how do I change the pitch?
Tbarak has written up a nice guide discussing any aspect of creating appealing pictures in the Scenario Editor. For further reference, search for relevant threads in the Scenario Design Forum - there are plenty of them!

Can I watch a recorded game in Windows Media Player?
No, the recorded games have to be watched from the inside of AoM / AoM:TT. To watch a recorded game, go to More - Recorded Games.

I played an awesowe game, and I want to rename the recorded game to save it! Where are they located?
With AoM:TT, files such as recorded games, customized scenarios, screenshots etc. are stored in the Age of Mythology folder found in My Documents – My Games.

Recorded Games and other files pertaining to original AoM, however, are still found in the AoM directory that was created during the installation of AoM.

Speaking of recorded games, when you watch a recorded game from the enemy's perspective, the screen doesn't follow the movements you make with the mouse. The screen just gets stuck for a couple of seconds, then it moves to another spot on the map... why's that?
To cut down rec game filesizes, they only record camera movements for the player who recorded the game. In early versions of AoM, the rec game filesizes were unpractically large (1+ mb according to Theta) so ES put a bit of work into making them much smaller. Thanks to TheShadowDawn for answering this question!

I have a recorded game (or scenarios, maps etc.) that I want to upload to the AoMH Downloads section. What do have to do?
To upload files, you have to zip the files, using either WinZip or Windows XP's zipping tool. When it comes to big files, WinZip is preferable as it basically is able to compress the files more than Windows XP's tool can.

Where do I get hold of the AoM:TT demo?
At Microsoft's AoM:TT Site.

I am behind a router, and can't play online games whatever I do.
ES have compiled an ESO FAQ, dealing with what ports to open, how to get ESO working in a network plus many other things pertaining to ESO.

Is there any limit on the amount of accounts I can create on ESO, with my CD-key?
For the time being, no.

How do I take a screenshot in AoM / AoM:TT?
Hit CTRL + F12.

How do I make new taunts?
Go to the the taunt folders found in the sound directory. Note that the AoM:TT taunts folder is located in a folder named ”xpack” Paste in a sound file or song you like and put any number higher than 044 and a space after it at the front, to enter the song name, e.g. "085 - Somewhere I Belong.mp3". When you want to play the taunt in a game, type "85" and you will hear the sound file. Remember that the file format has to be .mp3 to work.

Also, have in mind that, as long as your opponent / partner doesn't have the file, they won't be able to hear the taunt.
