Make sure that you’ve put High Graphics on (found on the Options tab). However, using High Graphics on older / slower systems may evolve a heavy lag.
The older versions of mods like Enhanced Tooltips don't support certain features in AoM:TT. Get rid of the mods, and replace them with versions compatible with AoM:TT.
Make a shortcut leading to the ”AoM” and / or ”AoMX” .exe files found in your AoM directory, and put them on e.g your desktop. Then right-click the shortcut, and add the following to the end of the text already in the "Target" box:

No, the recorded games have to be watched from the inside of AoM / AoM:TT. To watch a recorded game, go to More - Recorded Games.
With AoM:TT, files such as recorded games, customized scenarios, screenshots etc. are stored in the Age of Mythology folder found in My Documents – My Games.
To cut down rec game filesizes, they only record camera movements for the player who recorded the game. In early versions of AoM, the rec game filesizes were unpractically large (1+ mb according to Theta) so ES put a bit of work into making them much smaller.
To upload files, you have to zip the files, using either WinZip or Windows XP's zipping tool. When it comes to big files, WinZip is preferable as it basically is able to compress the files more than Windows XP's tool can.

Go to the the taunt folders found in the sound directory. Note that the AoM:TT taunts folder is located in a folder named ”xpack” Paste in a sound file or song you like and put any number higher than 044 and a space after it at the front, to enter the song name, e.g. "085 - Somewhere I Belong.mp3". When you want to play the taunt in a game, type "85" and you will hear the sound file. Remember that the file format has to be .mp3 to work.
