This will teach you how to make a sun, which looks good in cinematics.

First, place a mirror tower near the edge of the map that your cinematic will be at.

Then, create invisable walls around the mirror tower, and shrink it. Your "Sun" should be floating. If it isn't gloating, move towards the edge of the map or go to a low-pitch angle. this is what it should look like:

Then create a scene around your area. I'm not going to make a quite beautiful one, but in this picture I used the perspective method.

Use Render Sky. SkyBlue and SkyStormy look good especially, and the sun actually suprisingly well with Render Snow.

And walla! There you have a sun!

add to it. 1 mirror tower will give u a star. 10 mirror towers at one place will give u a really bright sun.

Yeah, the sun is a Star technically... so we see "suns" all through the night... why are you so surprised?

obelisk has nearly excactly the same height as mirror tower, so if you want a blue glow, but in an obelisk or two

I think FOG.

Tried it. Didn't work because the light shrunk with the lighthouse.

Great Guide!

Also to make the sun or star larger and higher you can click on the mirror tower and hold "K" until it's as big as you want.
