Why does God torment me with these threads?

Rage, this is not a 'New RPG', it is a continuation of a current one. Now it appears you don't want to join. Please don't make comments like that in here again. Thank you.

To the Current Members of the New Republic Thread:

lol Hm guess I should place all our stats up in my topic post as well any new people as well...I will get that done later.

So what do we do in these RPG threads?

Basically you take control of a person/planet. In my case I have control of the Empire and the planet Nemoidia. You basically control their actions and how they respond to what is going on. Read my topic post to get updated on current events, and then post some stats if you want to join.

i'd like to join, but i'm still lost. I don't know what to do.

It may seem confusing at first but follow these steps:

1. Read the paragraph written in red font in my first post. That is what is happening right now.

2. Pick a planet from the list. Planets with a name next to it are taken.

3. Post stats for your planet. Read the yellow writing for a basic example of stats.

If I can get at least new 3-5 members to join then we can start, then others can join from there. Another thing you can do is read the first few pages of the New Republic Thread, and see how people posted stats.

Nice description Darkbeing. Very well constructed.

Basically, once you have your planet, or orgainsation, you write the story of your characters/planet/group as part of a larger story, which is detailed in the red paragraph Darkbeing posted.
This is a very long-running RPG, but we want to 'start anew' with new members controlling new planets and groups. That's why we opened this new thread, to get away from things like the Yuuzhan Vong storyline and all the outdated, confusing posts and back to the Empire-New Republic war.

Carania Test Site
After 5 Months of very hard, super fast working, the Planet Pulverizer was up.Deshuun stood in the watcher's box as it showed its power.
One of his officers flicked a switch, and the PP's gun hatch suddenly powered up with a ball of white energy - some idiot ran onto the test site and touched it - his finger came clean of and he was engulfed with flames.
Stupid b******... Deshuun Thought.
The ball continued to grow for 2 seconds, and then unleashed a whitelaser which made a wall burst into flames and fall down in the time of a split second - a fighter wouldnt stand a chance.
"Get the weapon up in space.I think we'll test itS real power on Bimmiel..."

Mon Calamari
The fleet was perparing for battel. They were gathering on the border near Bastion in hopes in making the New Republics border toutch the Chiss's. Master Luke Skywalker was now on his way to Couriscant to try and convince the Council to negotiate with the Chiss. If war were to come the New Republic battel plan was simple. Take Bastion and the surrounding planets. Storm the Hydian way and Perlimian trade rout to get to couriscant. The Chiss would probably get to couriscant first because their border was closer to it. They would also send a fllet towards the Neo-Trade Federation to deal wiht them too. That fleet would over run Kessel on the way there. This was going to be hard war for the New Republic, but even harder for the Empire.

OOC: Woah, woah, woah. Wait a minute. Wasn't the idea to wait a short while to attract a few new members before continuing? I think the above posts serve well as examples of RPG posts, and in that respect they're useful. But shouldn't we wait before running away with the storyline again, in case it confuses anyone who wants to join?

Edited the thread to include army stats. I found that in the last one, updating stats really didn't mean anything. Here it will as we will lose men through battles and gain through production.

Also, should we have the RPG set so that 12 days = 1 year? Like the last one. This means that 1 day is a month. Let's see if we can get one more person to join, then we can start. If nobody joins within the next day or so then lets go ahead.

Couriscant
Kyp and Luke's ships droped out of hyperspace at couriscant.
"Follow me master there is somthing I want to show you before we go to the council."
"Alright."
The two ships entered the atmosphere toward a forbiden zone of couriscant where no one was alowed to enter. The ships toutched down near a starewell to the underground of couriscant.
"Follow me." said kyp
The two of them walked down the starewell. They walked underground for about a mile
"I'm getting a verry bad feeling about this place, the dark side is strong here." Luke said
"Try and keep in mind master there is no dark side of the force, this is the reason why we are here, this is where my master took me when he convinced me, of the true nature of the force."
"Thats non-sense" Luke muttered
The kept walking for about another mile when luke toppeled over in fear and pain.
"The dark side....its, too powerfull, I cant take it. What is this wretched place?!?!!?" Luke screamed in aggony
"Well master" Kyp said calmly
"Do you have any idea what once stood directly above our heads?"
"Yes!!! A great well of the dark side!!!!"
"No master, that is incorrect. What stood above our heads 90 years ago was the Jedi Temple."a
Luke stared in awe.a
"Answer me this master. Why would the Jedi build their temple on top of a great well of the dark side?"
Not a word from Luke
"The answer is they wouldnt. Their is no Dark Side of the Force. What you call the dark side is the pure unrestricted force. What you call the Jedi is restriction and order. If your release of control leads to slaughter and distruction, then it is not the force that is dark, it is you heart." Kyp stared at the terrified luke
"C'mon, lets go"
They started to walk away

Eclipse

Maximus strode to the bridge. The Eclipse had been taken offline for several months for a rearmament and system update. The flagship of the Empire now looked more grander than ever...and just in time for war.

Intelligence had brought Maximus constant updates on the New Republic's movements. It seemed imminent that a war with the Chiss would result in a war with the New Republic. Palpatine had told Maximus of the new Byss, and Maximus immediately returned to his old vacation world with Mara while the Eclipse was being repaired. While he was there, he asked her how they should deal with the double threat.

"The Chiss are currently more dangerous than the New Republic...and should be dealt with first." Mara Jade had answered cooly.

"The New Republic has better intelligence and weapons though." responded Maximus.

"But the Chiss have Red-One." said Mara seriously.

Maximus nodded. The Chiss could do untold amounts of destruction with the chemical superweapon of theirs. He decided that they would be the bigger threat.

He relayed the following message to the top Imperial Commanders, as well as Governors:

"We will hold our defenses against the New Republic, while at the same time invading into Chiss space. We can then try to crush the New Republic with a massive assault, and perhaps then they will sue for peace."

Already battle fleets were being formed among the different Imperial sectors, each being sent to central locations, and waiting for the final orders.

Maximus composed a message to the leader of the Trandoshans:

Greetings Sissk.

The Empire wishes the presence of a Trandoshan battlefleet at Coruscant for the purpose of transporting prisoners of war to Kessel and other primary areas. There may be quite a few which is why we request the fleet. Our primary battlefleet is grouping their now as we speak. You will be handsomely paid of course.

"It'sss about time we ssstarted getting some cash. We need a lot more if we are going to ssstart colonzsssing.

It has been a while since I have heard from you, I take it other affairs have taken up most of your time. The Trandoshans would be gald to help. We will begin to prepare for this "migration" immediately. Our finest slave ships our on their way to Coruscant. When this matter is dealt with perhaps we could discuss the price on a more personal basis? We Trandoshans are always willing to help our allies The Empire.

"Ssshall I debrief the pilotsss sssir?" Asked the second in command, she was a female and highly disciplined.

"Yess of coursssse. I take it you will be going assss well?"

"If you wissssh sssir."She slauted and left the office while Sissk ordered some dinner and began to discuss matters with his advisors. It seemed the Trandoshans were to become a great civilization.

Oribiting Nemoidia

The Viper, Trion Gaz's personal SSD orbited the planet. Gaz sat on the bridge. He hailed his planet and crossed his fingers. "OOM-8. Open fire on the Viper."

"Yes sir." replied the droid, who then activated the firing sequence. A massive barrage of turbolasers lanced up from Nemoidia and engulfed the Star Destroyer.....

...which still stood there after 5 minutes. The batteries on the planet died down. Gaz smiled. He then replayed the tapes from the holonet surrounding Nemoida. It showed the Star Destroyer being engulfed, and then somehow absorbing the turbolaser blasts. The Vong black hole generators had finally been adapted to capital ships as well. Gaz was very impressed...even though at one point he was unsure if it was going to work.

Gaz hailed OOM-8 again. "Prepare a fleet of several million construction probes. We are going to Couruscant to adapt the fleet in time for the battle. I think Nemoidia is going to receive a serious bonus after this..."

Carania
Deshuun was sat in his throne in Mexus Prime, the capital city of Carania.His head was in his cold hands, his flowing hair flopped over disguising him.
An advisor came walking up into the throne room, his feet echoing through the giant place.
He walked up to the steps of the throne's altar.
"Sir, we havea repor..."The advisor said.
"Leave me be, for your own sake."Deshuun replied.
"But sire, it really is..."
"I thought I said leave me be!"
Suddenly, Deshuun sprung upright and unleshed a bright flurry of electricity from his fingers onto the advisor, who flopped to the ground, crying in agony.
Deshuun's face was not the bright affair of months back.It was pale, cold white, and his eyes glowed with a red energy.On his belt was not his ceremonial blade...but a lightsabre.
Guards heard the scream and came running in, their lasers pointing to Deshuun.Deshuun ignited the sabre and deflected them with ease, then sispatched the threat with a few quick sweeps of the glowing, black blade.
He clicked on a commlink to the com office.
"Tell Nexus I want him here.I have a report for him..."

All 1,000 slaver ships left with sevral slavers on board each Avatar and headed off for Coruscant. They told that when they arrived they would be debriefed on certain intructions to transport these prisoners to Kessel.

Back on Avatar Sissk was alreay making plans for colonization. Trandosha now immensely over-populated and the army needing more resources it was time to expand.

Couriscant
Luke and Kyp went to the Imperial Council to present themselves.

"My good friends of the Empire." Luke said to the Imperial Council
"Please let us avoid war that would devestate both of us. Let us persue peace, let us talk to the Chiss, they will listen to us. Give us 5 Months to negotiate with them. I highly recomend it."

Mon Calamari
Ackbar stood at the bridge of his flagship the [i]contra[i/]

"Begin with test one." ordered the supreem comander.
The 5 newly designed battelships that had just been completed charged their prototype partical cannons and fired them at the captured star destroyer with addaptd vong sheilding. The beems of energy meet resistance at first but then penetrated the shild and then the hole with ease.
"Remember Maximus the Vong lost the war. Ackbar said to himself."
"I want these ships mass produced emediatly. Lets addapt these shilds too. We only have 5 months to do it. I herby dub these ships penetrator class.

BTW: Before we start this war we realy need to get more people on the side of the New Republic. Otherwise it would be 3 on 6.

OOC: Here are the Military stats for the Neo-Trade Federation. They were in the old thread and im surprised at DarkBeing for not copying them over so here they are.

The Neo-Trade Federation contains of three planets. Those planets are Kamino, Geonosis, and Tatoine. There are enormuous drive yards at Kamino that have now grown larger than those at Kuat. Kamino also specialises in cloneing and has rebuilt the jedi temple there. Kamino is a planet of water besides two small continents. The smallest continent is where the Jedi temple has been rebuilt and his forbiden to those except jedi. There are curently about 1,500 members of the new jedi order. The Temple is twice as big as the old one on Couriscant. The Jedi that belong to the Empire under the Council at Kamino belive in the teachings of the late master Vergeree. They believe that there is no dark side and that the force has no sides. The old jedi restricted the power so they could control their emotions which made them week. The Sith had no control so their anger blinded them, thus making them week. The new Jedi have the control of the old and can harness dark side attacks. The Fleet at Kamino is fairly large and contains of about 18,000 ISD's, 700 SSD's along with 85,000 TIE fighters, 70,000 TIE interceptors, and 50,000 TIE defenders.

Geonosis has a large battel droid production facility. They pump out about 500,000 battel droids per month. they have invented the new Destroyer droids that have adapted Vong shielding. The production center can only make about 15,000 per month. They have a small shipyard which produces droid battelships. Their fleet contains of 20,000 Droid battelships, 7,000 ISD's and 150 SSD's Including 70,000 Droid fighters, 45,000 TIE fighters, 20,000 TIE interceptors, and 10,000 TIE defenders.

Tatoine is where criminals are now sent to mine spice because of the fact that it is getting harder and harder to get to Kessel. There are only 2,500 ISD's 150 SSD's, 10,000 TIE fighters, and 5,000 TIE defenders gaurding Tatoine.

The Neo-Trade Federation is secretly and illegaly known for cloaking technoledgy. The Flag Ship of the Neo-Trade Federation, the Hood, is much larger than the eclipse and can cloak, it is equiped with 5 super lasers and 1,000 Mega-Partical Cannons and Light-Screan bariears, the only known defense of Mega-Partical Cannons. High Admiral Dias, Palpatine, and Thrawn are on the Hood curently on their way to Csilla on a diplomatic mission.

The Space that the Neo-Trade Federation controls is known as the triangle because cloaked Gravity wells have been placed all around the space in which it controls that would make any apporaching ship drop out of hyperspace. Allerting the sector fleet wich would then go to the allerted area. This makes it very hard for any invasion to take place and was succesfull in rejecting the Vong.

The Galaxy Gun is also placed at Kamino wich can fire the death star superlaser to decimate a planet, and can also fire hyperspace torpedoes which can destroy a planet from long distance. Here is all the information you should need about the Neo-Trade Federation

And By the way Dark Being Kyp dosent just serve the Viceroy. He is the Neo-Trade Federation's representative on the Imperial council
