after playing thourhg th egame several times i have decided that morgan black is infact the old coot and vice varse. several numeruos reasons including:

1: he was the father of ameliea black, his brother was john
2: both of there accents were of french desent
3: old coot was from an earlier time in his apperance, so was black
4: they both looked much the same
5: morgan did drink from the welll of life, this makes it obviuos to some
6: the old coot was helpful
7: both men were importent to the storyline
8: without this it would be a plot hole, who is that old coot guy?
9: think about it: would really any of the other people work, not john, and no other reletives were known of ameliea
10: coot knew the sitution and right thing to do, like the other character mogran black

there are manym ore reasons i discoverd but i do not have enough space or time to mention them all but will upon your requests. i hope this sumarizes everyhting you need to know to get most out of the campiagn.

John was her grandfather, and Morgan great-great-grandfather.

Most people knew that about the Old Coot being Morgan.

Actually, John Black is the grandson of Morgan Black. It says so in the manual.

Its an obvious deduction. I mean, if the old coot wasn't Morgan Black, what was the point of putting the old coot in the game? It not that hard to comprehend and ascertain. The thing he said also gave it away: "All in one life time too." Or something to that extent. At the end of the first act, Morgan was drinking from his canteen, when he looked down at the water and thought about the foutain of youth's power. They don't show him drink from it, so at that time we think he didn't. But when the old coot said his line, we can prove that Morgan Black did in fact drink the water from the fountain. Its REALLY not that hard to piece together.

Also considering the old coot has a heavy scottish accent

Even if you don't, everybody else (especially us Yanks) think Scots sound like that.

It asn't that hard of a decduction, really. I figured it out the instant he said that line in the credits.

lol thats a BIG mistake to make concerning games . The game is NOT "The End" until you reach a screen where button pushes do not do anything (such as maybe a screen that says The End or similar) or you're back at the title screen. You should always pay attention, even when its the credits. Even when I'm watching the credits I just sit there with satisfaction as I listen to the music. (if the game was actually cared for in which it even has music in the credits)

Ya, hes defanatly isnt french...its scottish...and some of those reasons dont even make sense...

Quote:

3: old coot was from an earlier time in his apperance, so was black

makes little sense...

Quote:

6: the old coot was helpful

just because hes helpful doesnt mean anything....he could be micheal jackson in disguise..

Quote:

7: both men were importent to the storyline

the old coot kinda stood around yakking and all...didnt do much, maybe if he killed someone with his cane I would consider him important...

Quote:

10: coot knew the sitution and right thing to do, like the other character mogran black

If the right thing to do was to talk randomly to his ancenstor who was in complete oblivion about who the heck he was...then yes...

And please stop posting stupid crap after the end of your posts....every picture/link you have posted has no relevance or meaning....its quite pathetic actually.

Here's the line
*SPOILERS!*

"You broke the Circle. And in one lifetime too."

Think for a moment: Who would be old if he was still alive, has a Scottish accent, and would be so interested in the Falcon Company, a buisness owned by the Black family? Also, his potrait is VERY similair to Morgan's, although the voice was all I needed to hear to know who he was.
