Don't worry, this is different from NowhereT's.
And by that I mean that his is done, and so now it's time for another one!
However this one will have the focus of AoK. Each round will somehow be devoted to Age of Kings (or Conquerors) This means that those who compete would be required to own a copy of the game. Not all the rounds will involve playing or otherwise using the game, but the round will still have to do with AoK.
rules:
Most of the rules will be outlined in each round. these are general rules that always apply.
1. Follow the CoC.
2. APanel of judges formed of myself, two others, and those eliminated will judge all rounds requiring judging.
3. A Contestant must either own a copy of AoK (at the bare minimum) or AoC (or obtain either before the start of the contest.)
4. Some contests may required you to download a scenario from the blacksmith and play it through to completion. none of these will require mods, edited .dat files, or anything besides a .scn/.scx file, and possibly some sounds.*
5. Each round a Contestant WILL be eliminated. If a contestant is eliminated based on activity, they will not join the judgingPanel, and all contestants with entries in will move on to the next round.
6. If a majority of entries are not received by the end of the round, the round will either be extended or modified to allow more people to enter.
7. every person has a bye. they may opt to use this at any point, and if they do not choose to use it, and do not submit an entry to the current round, it will be used for them. people who join after the first round (during the second) do not have a bye. If you enter a round, but lose, your bye is forfeit, and you are eliminated. (IE, if you have an entry but it loses, you cannot use your bye to remain in.)
* In cases where someone owns AoK and not AoC, I will be surprised they haven't put down 10 dollars for the gold edition yet, and will work out a solution with them.

Objective: Build a Wonder in as little time as possible in any standard game with AoC or AoK. provide a screenshot to show your accomplishment. The lowest time wins, the longest time is eliminated.
Rules:
1. You must play on all standard settings: meaning dark age, low resources, standard win condition, small (or tiny, I can only imagine that would be harder) map size.
2. You may use any map type, civilization, or other options besides starting factors to your advantage.
3. you must play 1v1 FFA. (no team bonuses, and I suggest making the AI hard enough he doesn't abdicate.)
4. all cheats are not allowed
5. please do something that indicates it's you. (chats show up in screen capture, hint hint.)
6. if you want, record the whole game and send it to me.
7. You may NOT use the demo version, if I remember it doesn't have the imperial age.
8. if you post a time, you may continue to try and do better. your best time will be the one accepted.
9. For everything, it must be vanilla.
ROUND TWO
Write an AoK poem. due march 10th
1. The subject must be related to AoK.
2. You must write an actual poem.
3. It must be at least eight lines long, unless you write a haiku. (A haiku is 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables.)
That's about it! The judges will rate them in order of their favorite to least favorite, scoring will be explained later on (when I can get on a computer)

Create a screenshot for the topic TRIAL. Due march 21.
