    FAQ

Q: Can I make a menu background as my scenarios, RMS and short cinematic submittion?
A: It is a type of scenario, so therefore - yes!

    Q: What is the prize?
A: I'm seeing what I can do. I was thinking on the lines of featuring the submittion on the site and having a custom member title.

Here are reviews of the scenarios, RMS and short cinematics.

    Christmas Chaos by Hessu
Review by nottud Most the ratings are 5 because it is an excellent map with loads of eyecandy. It wasn't too short. I really liked the use of animation especially where arkantos is thinking. It was very funny with lots of action. I thought the part where they trying to cut down the tree was very funny.

Unfortunately, I had to give a 4 for map design. It always good to have something to improve on and I feel that the following should be done:

(1)It should snow at some point in the film. I think that it should snow when the camera is moving around Lapland.Because it wasn't snowing, it didn't feel "Christmasy" enough

(2)The Object which the attempts to cut down the tree needs to be closer to the tree. To me, they were just cutting the air in front of the tree. It just spoilt the film as I noticed it very clearly.

Overall, I think it is an excellent film with a lot of good imagination. Superb triggers with a lot of effects and hard work.

    A MUST DOWNLOAD!!!

I'll work on a screenie once the snow starts falling.

    I never asked for this.

Its real name is the winter solstice festival. And its about eating and drinking in excess and just generally having a blinking good time. It has no historical correlation with the birth of Jesus. Sorry Christians but thats the truth. Your ancestors pinched the holiday.

This is my signature. I wasn't feeling enthusiastic enough to write something witty. Sorry everyone, sorry.

Well, even though Christmas is not the official birth of Christ, it celebrates that occasion nonetheless.

And you're right, it pretty much is about going drunk and obese in this time of year. And, having a zarking good time.

But would you want children around the country (and world) to call it "Winter Solstice Festival?"

I just hate it that it's summer right now and where I live it only snows on the mountains in winter.

Not bad, but it looks more like a forest than a manger/stable.

    Actually, no.

UK Christmas is as commericialised as anywhere else: Christians, generally, celebrate his coming, country irregardless. For everyone else, hey, free stuff!

Although we don't celebrate the coming of Jesus, we have quality time with the family on this day So for me, it goes beyond the free stuff, although I must admit, yeah, you get some stuff. However, I also buy stuff for others

    I think I might join.

But should a screenshot and a scenario qualify in the same competition? Won't that just make scenarios win easily without giving screenies a chance? Scenarios are going to obviously score higher than a screenshot.

Stop being prejudice to Americans ffs. We didn't ruin Christmas at all. The people who ruin Christmas are the bigots who put down other countries. And yes the meaning of christmas is Christ. the manger etc etc. But for MOST people, it is a joyous time where you spend time with family or friends you don't often see year round, exchange gifts, eat good food, and eat good food.

    I never asked for this.

Nanodude: Ever heard of the Life of Brian?
"He's not the Messiah. He's a very naughty boy!"

Being a practicing Christian, I find that movie a guilty pleasure. For me, the entire movie is a "Memorable quotes" listing. So are you going to do a Brian theme for your entry?

I can't do really advanced triggers and cinematics so I'm doing a screenshot.
So are you going to do a Brian theme for your entry?
No but that is a good idea, I have no idea what to do now.
I guess you cant use prograsm like GIMP or photoshop?

I'd like to see a scenario. Here's an idea: Just make a scene as if you were doing a menu background! You can do menu backgrounds too.
