A great 2014 to everyone!

Yes indeed. 1000 posts and maybe the oldest game ever played in this forum, maybe even the oldest game ever. The thread was made 11-11-2007 and yes it is really been a while.
In addition it looks that only two players are veterans in this game. Sleet and myself.
At all we (the community people) show our self that it is possible to keep such a game, to replace lost players, to have tight alliances over a long time and at least to prove our self that we are honorable for what we have made so far.
Even when this game is maybe lost to this or that fraction and even when some even hate this game, I am proud to be in and I am proud that it is my first made map that still give some players a thrill.
I think the map is a good map for such a game.
Looks a game can go this or that way but it also looks it is possible to be a kind of balanced on this map.

Resent. If it is not correct, then I must need a resend to myself, or perhaps someone ahead of me the turn is stuck with? I remember playing this turn as I was messing with the Dwarves some more.

I never received a turn later.


I looked into it and was sure I have seen this turn before but there is no cheater message and no turn in my email out folder...
So I am the one who throttle this game down.

I played my turn and excuse myself for not seeing I am the slow guy this time.

This is confusing. I received Turn 98 which I already played and sent on the 28th December 2013.

What is the plan? Play again or should I resent my turn, which was played already by naecO as well??

For me it lookes like Sleet should resent his latest turn to Travis, because he has sent obviously an old turn to The Groll. What do you think?

Maybe just go with it. It will get on track sometime.

I've been very busy the last couple weeks and I completely forgot about this game. Unfortunately I won't have time untill after the weekend but then I should be good for a while.

What now mates?
With the loss of LD and the strong Goblin player we have a problem.
I think replacing him with a sub is near impossible.

The question is now what to do.

I think Elven and Undead don´t have a true chance to survive against the power of the Goblins and Hobbits.
With the fall of this two races only the dwarfes are left in their dungeons behind the barricade. But if all alliance players storm the dwarfes with spells summons and endless troops they will fall.

Maybe the two big nations fight each other in future?

And what is with my Draconians. I become stronger during the last weeks...

If the alliance don´t fight itself the game is over.

So the true question is now:
What shall we do with this ancient old game?

It would be sad to stop it without a true end.

I posted my opinion long ago. For me nothing has changed since then. But of course I will go with the majority and especially with my allies.

The game pace of this game has been appalling and very discouraging. Plus, the 4 players alliance played very well and dominates the game. I would prefer to forfeit in-game.

I agree to drop this. Congrats to the other alliance! It would have been much more enjoyable if it hadn't been for too many changes of players and slow pace.

Thanks for the game all. We had a number of great players join the battling and leave. It has indeed been an up and down adventure. Great allies and enemies as well.
