SCENARIO SHOWCASE: SIEGE OF ATLANTIS

!!90% Done!!

Screenshots:
Kastor's Palace
Flooded Farms
Military Base (notice the showers)
Docks
Hotel with relaxation park (NEW! "eyecandied")
Part of the City
Sacred Forest of Gaia

Estimated Release Date: Early April - Late May
I may not be done by then though so don't go mad If I don't finish it on time

Kastor rebuilt Atlantis and ruled as king. He was the best king Atlantis had ever had. But there are always people who don't like the rule of a fair king... The founder of the Rebel Forces is unknown; all we know is they rebelled against the rule of Kastor and attacked his trade caravans and murdered Atlanteans. Not long ago they were banned from Atlantis. They went far away...

It's dawn. The sun is starting to shine. A beautiful day. But then Kastor hears the shout of the sentry at the Sentry Outpost; what could he be up to? As Kastor walks towards the Sentry Outpost he sees the flaming arrows signal fired and hears the sentry shout: "SIR! Rebel Forces spotted! Distance: 5 leagues!" It's the Rebel Forces! It looks like they have come back for revenge...

Kastor's army is away fighting in the Norselands so he must train an army in 15 hours (real time: 15 minutes)

This scenario is made for people new to Age of Mythology/TT or even people new to RTS (Real Time Strategy) although it can be thoroughly enjoyed by both experienced and unexperienced players. It teaches the basics of AoM/TT.

FEATURES:

  • Beautiful eyecandy
  • Advanced triggers
  • Teaches the basics of AoM/TT
  • Resources found not just by gathering
  • Exciting story
  • Great battle to be fought
  • Most buildings have new names
  • Sounds, sounds and SOUNDS!
  • And something important... lots of humour!

NOTE: This scenario is of difficulty between easy and medium, for reasons mentioned above, but is still just as fun!

More to be revealed, but for now that is all.

Hope you'll like it!

SHOWCASE & SCENARIO SUBJECT TO CHANGES WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE!
Note: This a scenario for TT.

Oh yeah, tell me one thing: Would you play this just by reading the showcase?

Again, I think screenshots are more decisive than the text. Have a look at King Jared's "Campaign Announcement: Last Stand Of Atlantis" and you'll see a perfect little advertisement, with lots of interesting screenshots (even from cinematics) and a comprehensive, but not too long text.

Well, I'd play your scenario, I think, and I'm looking forward to the screenshots .

OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Scenarios like that should be banned

No I'm just kidding man don't worry

Great job on it, it looks like you worked hard on it

See ya tomorrow (don't worry I'll bring the movie).

I think signatures are a waste of bandwith, space, time. They are useless, unimportant, stupid, created for no purpose, and anyone who has one is stupid.

You have wasted approximately 7.2343 seconds of your life by reading this.

Thanks! It took quite a lot of time to make the pond (the showers were fairly easy )
Release date is around Early April - Late May. (Only a catastrophe can delay it) Lets not get carried away
BTW: The Warriors of Sparta is looking excellent

Looks very promising, especially for those new to AoM.
It's a build and defend, right?
I didn't really like the look of the flooded farms though, particularly, merging of sand bank to grass. I would recommend, making it look more like a farming ground, by adding more farms, and wooden fences here and there.
Showers were very well done though!

Anyway, looks great, and i'm looking forward to it.

Thanks!
Build and Defend?
Not really. You don't need to build, you already have a city, its more of a RPG (10%) and Defend (90%) lol (You can go to the docks to see if there is anyone willing to fight for you, things like that)
So the problem was the sand banks on the flooded farms? Hmm... I'll take a look and thanks for telling me, you see anything you don't particularly like, just post.
