Increasing anubites jumping distance is really easy I wonder why I haven't realise this before.

You need only 1 trigger to make them jump further well it's more like flying.

Active
Loop

Condition: Quest var check,name=jump, <= 200

Effect: Set tech status, Feet of jackal
Quest var modify, jump + 1

______________________________________

So now your anubites will get Feet of jackal tech 200 times.

REMEMBER ALSO INCREASE ANUBITES LOS WITH "MODIFY PROTO UNIT"

And remember: "feet of the jakel adds 50 health and 2.6 hack attack to the anubite" ~reach~

It will look like this:

very nice trick. also you can make infinite jump...

Trigger: loop, active, run immediatly
condition always

effects.
set teh status feet of jackal
modify protounit los +1

it will make them jump anywhere.

The matrix has anubites now does it?

Interesterant.

Maid, I don't think that will be necessary.

No problem! Glad that someone found this useful.

Azalot: That's exactly the same thing but all anubites would come mortal because feet of jackal also increase their attack and hp. Quest vars are only made that trigger would fire only 200 times. Ofcourse much less times is enough especially if you don't want anubites jump too far.

I combined this idea and the conga line idea in this theard to make a jumping conga line, its not that easy, but I found a way to do it.

Nice effect, but the use of it in an actual scenario is kinda miniscule.

Cool, I actually discovered it before (when I was messing around with MU's). Anyway, for some reason all of the other triggers started screwing up on my scenario. It might have something to do with it or not, just a warning.

A cool trick with it is to place non-moving units at the corners of the screen, so the anubite can fly from one end of the map to the other.

I'm not saying I found it first to steal your thunder, since I no longer play AoM.

Your way is much better than mine. (which involved set tech status, alot, Then modify protounit to lower it's attack and health back to normal)

You'll probably do better with it than I did, just make a good scenario with anubites flying around and I will be damn happy...

It sure is. But it's hard to find good use of it...

I hope there would be a way make unit fly further when you forexemple meteor or knock them with minotaur.
