I'm not sure I agree with that. As a matter of fact, I've changed a great deal of my opinions on the Internet, from talking to other people or simply from reading. And sometimes it took a little harsher tone for me to realise how stupid some of my beliefs were, and how ignorant I was on certain fields. Even though I didn't admit it at the time, it made me rethink my point of view.

and anyway, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. and somebody insulting you on the internet certainly won't kill you.
