Ah at last the picture is back ... in black
Arthur - King of the Britons has been charged by God with a sacred quest: to find the Holy Grail! Join this mafia to embark on this epic tale of danger, peril and nasty big pointy teeth. Throughout this mafia you will have the chance to meet and confront your most loved Monty Python characters.

Yes, Monty Python and the Holy Grail Mafia is here!
Please note: There may be some characters from Monty Python who do not appear in The Holy Grail, but who are making an appearance in this mafia.
The usual mafia game mechanics apply, however some roles have been created specially for this game. The balance of this game has been tweaked to the 'HGMain Mafia Forum' setting - so it won't be as easy for the town to win as my other mafia games. The final settings shall be decided by how many players sign up. Ideally I'd like 28 - so advertise like crazy . This may be a bit ambitious, but we can go with less.
I intend to keep signups open for at least a week or until we get the desired number of players - whichever comes last. Please check your calendar to see if you will be away while the game is in progress. Replacements may also sign up.
 
 Rules:
  • Yeebaagooon is God. As if you didn't already know....
  • This game is closed communication unless specified in your role email.
  • You may not directly quote your role email.
  • You may not edit any of your posts in the game thread.
  • This thread will be locked at night - there will not be a sunset phase - we go straight to night after a lynch.
  • There may be some post restrictions - but I have limited these as much as possible as this is HGMain.
  • Please vote and unvote correctly otherwise you will be ignored.
  • Obey the 20 commandments at all times, or I shall smite you.
  • I fart in the general direction of inactives - and they shall be replaced without notification after one prod.
  • I reserve the right to smite any player at any time for any reason and all rules are subject to change without notice.
  • Don't post after you're dead.

    Alright... I have actually lied about my role, I am a death miller flavour cop, and I know you will still lynch me but it might be helpfull to know that all the results I got were correct,so use this to your advantage town.

    At this point, death miller is the scummiest claim he could possibly make. By claiming death miller, he's simply trying to establish an alibi for whoever has defended him throughout this. "Oh, even though I come up scum, you shouldn't look to closely at the people who've been protecting me." The fact that he didn't claim this earlier is absolutely ridiculous, and his information about other players could easily have been either obtained as mafia (his role isn't all that powerful- or rather it's as powerful as Yeeb makes it. Sounds like a good way to give the mafia investigative powers) or coordinated with scum buddies- remember, we've only had one person agree with his results. And finally, his new claim doesn't even account for the guilty result, since death millers normally (correct me if I'm wrong here) don't show up guilty to investigation. GoO needs to be lynched, and then we need to look closely at those who've been supporting him.

    ^Agreed. This is just a last-ditch attempt on GoO's part to avoid being lynched. If he really was a death miller, he would surely have claimed so earlier. All the evidence points towards him being scum.

    Like I said, this is cut and dry. He didn't claim as a miller, and a practically (now actually) confirmed cop has a guilty on him. His desperate flailings just confirm even further that he is scum. And frankly, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it would probably make sense to vig Baske tonight, simply because it was likely scum coordination that got Olympus "confirmed".

Guard Of Olympus screamed that he was innocent, but the town ignored him, they had made their decision. The trap door lever was pulled and Guard of Olympus plummeted to his death.
    There was a sharp crack. The town poked at the corpse to find two letters written on the undershirt of the deceased: 'NI!' Shockwaves of fear swept through the town.
    Heir Of Elessar appeared on the scene out of nowhere as the Sun went down. The town quickly slid into their houses and locked the doors.
  • A Knight Of Ni, a Ni mafia member played by Guard Of Olympus has been lynched. 
    • It is now Night 3. Please send in your night actions.
    Day begins in 48 hours (roughly).

    The town knew that the Knights Of Ni were at large, and adopted various security measures. Many feared for their lives and snuggled in to their beds.
    King Arthur was at the round table discussing various matters with his knights. The door was broken down and a group ran in, pointing their spears at Arthur. The King was not afraid as he had protection in place. One of the group lunged with their spear, but Patsy leapt from nowhere to take the blow for his master. Patsy died looking up as the group fled.
    Upon fleeing however, one of their number was picked off. A Knight of Ni was seen to be dead - with a horrible scar in their back.

    As the Sun rose, the town made their way to the square. They coughed as smoke filled the air. They saw Heir Of Elessar tied to a stake! A masked witch finder lit the wood and the witch burnt, obviously, as Heir was made of wood.
    The witch finder then joined the crowd. Minos Yewman also lumbered towards the town, trying to hide something. The townspeople leapt on him to find his left arm had been chopped off during the night. Minos shrugged.
  • Patsy, Arthur's servant played by Beelzebub has been killed. Patsy automatically takes any kill attacks directed at Arthur.
  • A Knight Of Ni played by Rotaretilbo has been killed.
  • The Witch, played by Heir of Elessar has been burnt. The Witch catcher has achieved a win condition and has decided to remain in live play. The witch (pro-town) gained a spell point each day and night and could investigate, turn people into newts, roleblock or kill (at the cost of spell points). On Day 3 the witch had enough power to turn himself into a newt to avoid execution. The win condition of the witch was:
    When you are one of the 6 remaining players AND you have turned at least two players into newts.     
    • It is now Day 4.
    20 alive so 11 to lynch.
     THYMOLE is now replacing James Hook.
    Dead players may ask to replace if they know nothing about other players.

    That was a very good night, so it seems. It looks like two anti-town roles are dead. However, someone attempted to kill King Arthur. He is now extremely vulnerable.

    Is there anything else that we learned from that night?

    I was helping the town out here, you know. And I had a great result. Sigh...

    Oh, and Yeeb, my win condition required me to turn at least 2 people into newts, not one.

    I would say that Heir was considered pro-town then.

    Minos Yewman is pretty clearly the Black Knight. I doubt he's pro-town.

    Which is funny because GoO said he was the cop who arrested Arthur.

    I think minos tried to kill Aurthur last night. Why else would his arm be chopped off?

    Are you sure? I never really noticed that they used spears...
