That really doesn't make it anymore stronger, since all you have is the confirmation that the one result you get will be true. However, it is still essentially a one-shot investigation, hardly a game-changer in most circumstances.

The power of a power point wasn't important enough to be focused upon as the sole reason for his lynch, there were lots of other points like the result on a dead person, the not so convincing claim, the not so convincing power, the slight defense of GoO, the bus-driving by Mozzy etc.

All were minor points individually, but when taken together they did form a pretty good case for Baske's lynch.

VTs provide game balance. My point is, why would the mod decide he'd like to give someone a power and make it one-shot, then make it crappy? It effectively makes him a VT, why not just put a VT in there directly? That is my point.

I did give a reason initially. If you looked back it was because of him giving a result on a dead player and the other evidence that was against him. IT was too close to GOO who was giving results on dead and confirmed town players.
