Funniest Signature
Back in the day, signatures were often extravagant showcases of ASCII "art", colourful links and ungodly collages of different-coloured smilies. These days they often end up being a simple collection of funny quotes and personal links. This year we had a wide array of funny signatures; at one point this category was a five-way tie at 6 points each between Pears, Lord Sipia, TK, CK and Popey, and these numbers didn't change much until the end. We now have ourselves another tie between CarolKarine and Popeychops, both at ten points each!

Considering this is a fan forum for a fifteen-year-old game, we're still pretty active in spamming up the place! This year was a close one between last year's victor CarolKarine, who still hasn't been greened, and HockeySam18. In the end Sam managed to get ahead by a mere two points, and thus claimed the title! With a Splash Splash around New Year's 2012-2013 that lasted for about day, this year's victor was easy to spot. In fact, the winning thread, Splash Splash XLIV: The Year That Never Should Have Been, got more than half of the total votes, something of a feat considering you can only give one point each in this category, as opposed to the standard 3-2-1 points!

A quickly institued special award, this is a potential new standard category in which we give praise to the person who has made the best and/or funniest name change in the last year. Dubbed after trebuchet king's latest (first?) new name, as he came up with the idea, he did not get to take the cup by his lonesome! The first place was a tie between Chocolate Jesus (trebuchet king) and Sir Coquenbolls (CarolKarine)! Congrats to them both!
