The designers left the conference and waded out into the snow (yes, snow in Dubai). As they hurriedly opened their umbrellas, huge slabs of lead fell out and hit them on the head.
A few days later the forumers arrived on Baker Island, almost exactly on the equator. But they could not find Yeebaagooon, and wondered why he had brought them to this remote equatorial island. Then a submarine surfaced on the beach where the forumers were playing, and Yeebaagooon poked his head out. "Come in, there's room for all!" he shouted joyfully, brandishing a bottle of whisky. The forumers clambered aboard the tightly packed submarine and after a 10 minute journey the submarine stopped.
The forumers were fired out of the torpedo bays one by one into an underwater bubble. Once in this bubble they were able to breathe and could ascend a staircase. Once this had been ascended, the forumers realised they were a few miles out at sea on a platform. They were on the equator exactly. "I'm afraid the journey is not over yet!" said Yeebaagooon as he pointed to a gigantic structure in the middle of the raft. The forumers were overwhelmed with this structure, it was a large circular room in the middle of a tether that stretched into the clouds.
Yeebaagooon walked into what looked like an observation deck at the bottom of this pole and the forumers also boarded. There was plenty of room in here, with roman couches for everyone, complete with slaves bringing you peeled grapes. Yeebaagooon then put on a pirate hat and advised everyone to get comfortable. He strode to the middle of this hall and pressed a series of buttons. A laser suddenly activated underneath the room and a great whirring sound was heard as the room rocked from side to side. "Here we go!" shouted Yeebaagooon over the noise and pressed a button.
The entire room catapulted up into the sky. The G Forces involved crushed many of the grapes and pinned all the forumers onto their roman couches. The clouds soon obscured the pacific ocean far below them as this elevator continued to hurtle upwards.
Many hours later the speed was still relentless. Eventually the room (now identified as an elevator) broke free of the Earth's atmosphere and entered space. The forumers instantly became weightless and started floating around. This was great for many diet plans, and a water pistol fight ensued.
A few minutes later, the elevator docked in the middle of a gigantic diamond. The doors puffed open and gravity returned to normal. The forumers staggered out of the contraption and were handed free sick bags. The forumers now realised where they were.
Yeebaagooon had stolen BPM 37093, and had created a space station out of this massive diamond. There were a great set of imposing diamond doors with quotes engraved upon them directly ahead that slid open.
Papaya was enraged at this and how much it must have cost. He now understood where the staff holiday fund had gone.
The forumers walked into the great diamond hall, and sat down on pristine diamond sofas. There were diamond cups filled with liquid diamond if one cared to taste the more delicate cuisine of space and diamond cushion for that nice soft feeling. There was a collection of diamond spacecrafts and escape pods, complete with a scale working model of the USS Voyager, in diamond of course. These received a good looking over by the forumers, wondering if they would be getting any free gifts...
Yeebaagooon sat on his diamond throne and begun to read out a list of the awards. People would then shout out others they wished to nominate. You may nominate yourself, but no more than 5 nominations per award please.
