This thread is to be used for:

Registering New Ladder Games That Have Just Started

Challenging the Regning Ladder Champion

Off-topic replies will be moved or deleted. For other ladder functions, please visit the AOW2H/SM WIZARDS LADDER -- Sign Up and Report Game Results.

How to register new ladder games:

Register New Ladder Games by posting a reply in the Game Registry. Be sure to include a link to the thread which you will be using as a turn log, which is required for 3 or more player games, and recommended even for 1 on one games. Titles of games without turn logs appear in orange.

Please note: You must register your game when it starts or else you will not be allowed to report the result when it is finished. Be sure not to forget the registration step or else you could be disappointed later.

1. Doubles Wizard-Ladder (PBEM) Championship 10 registered tournament matches
2. Low Level Ladder Tourney 8 preliminary matches, 4 secondary matches, 2 semifinals and 2 finals.
3. Official PBEM FFA Tourney 24 preliminary games, 2 semi-final matches, 1 final match.

The game registry had gotten a bit unwieldy, so I'm restricting the active registry to only those games that are still pending. There will be an archive thread (not sticky) where I'll store information about past games.

registering 2 games using the 'survivor' scoring system:

game A will use placement points, and the players will all contribute 1 point to the pool. since 'the charm' is a 6 player game, each player will receive the follwing points according to where they finish: 7/4/3/-3/-5/-6.
The five losers also lose 1 additional point, and the winner of the vote will gain 5 more points.

game B will not use placement points, but each player will contribute 2 points to the pool. this means that the player voted the winner will get 10 WL points, and all others will lose 2 ('the charm' is a 6 player map, so 5 losers at 2 points each = 10 pts).
