The proud note of a horn rings across the landscape, heralding the approach of another new year. Messengers ride throughout the countryside, bringing the annual summons to jarlar, thegnar, hersar, and godar to flock to the great hall for another bout of endless feasting and carousing. Longships make berth in bottomless fjords as warbands disembark, weary of battle abroad and yearning for a tankard of ale and good company with whom to share the tales of their exploits.
Trudging towards the warmth of the great hall, these proud warriors invite the community to once again turn its attention to our fine corps of scenario designers and modders here at AoKH. The toils of the previous year have borne fruit uncountable, and skalds prepare verses to commemorate these achievements until the end of time. Many of us have been hard at work creating new and novel things to play, while others have been taking well-deserved rests. In this thread, we all get the chance to celebrate the hard work and success of our brothers in arms!
If you are new to GotY, this is a thread were you get to vote for the scenarios and mods that you think were the very best from the past year, in ten different categories, as well as three categories for the designers behind them!
So send word to all corners of the realm and rally the good folk to join you in deciding what are and who designed the finest masterpieces of them all!

• In the categories 1 to 8, as well as in category 12, you may only pick
