Black Ice Studios:
Black Ice Studios is a design team founded by WinstonShnozwick and Jack D P. They decided to make a design team after they had started their teamwork début project(not singular projects). Black Ice is a place to start projects, scenario or mod.

What do I get out of it if I join?
Well for one, you get to talk to a friendly community. You also can get help on your scenarios. We do the best we can to help with problems.

Sometimes you can find someone to be your partner in Scenario designing.

What projects have you started?
We cannot say in this thread, but, you can see a screenshot.




What can I do there?
You can share ideas, announce projects among the members there.

We hope to see you there.

Hey, glad your starting your own team, it's always cool when fresh new teams spring up. I'll off a few suggestions. Reduce the number of forums on your website. You really only need two public ones at most, game related and off topic. Obviously you'll need a few private forums for your team, but when you have 7 public forums, your activity will be way to spread out.

Also, if you're looking for other people to join your team you'll need to offer incentives. Why should someone join your team? What do you have to offer then that is a benefit as opposed to working alone?

Just a few thoughts to get you started.

I noticed this, well actually, not just anyone can join. You need to have some amount of skill in the editor, and show some example of your work to see if its up to par enough to get in. We want quality projects, so you need to know your stuff.

That isn't true Winston, another purpose of the forum is to teach newbies some map making skills. I will teach them over MSN personally if I need to.

Who wants to make the first post in the SD forums?
I think an "ideas" thread can be in Map Design and Triggering.
I'm creating it in Triggering, that's my field. The thread in Triggering and the one in Map Design will be linked, because the triggers are based on the map and the map is based on the efforts we want to put in, and the efforts are based on our knowledge, but this isn't a problem with more people.

Edit: What title would you like for the Triggering one?
