Good Idea. It's pretty hard to find these if you dunno they exist.

Might want to add "Making Non-Dying Units (Like Heroes)

I think there were some other good ones too but I can't remember atm.

Oh here's one: Oddy's One Trigger Kill Counter

And another: Trick to Modifying GPs

This one I'm not sure, but maybe some people might have problems with the Kill Effect too: Kill Effect Not Working with 2 Players Maybe just type one sentence instead a link - the threads not needed to explain it.

BTW, this should be pinned. It's just as useful as the FAQ.

I was just playing around with the editor, and the Never-Dying Units is also capable of summoning two units at its side with a few simple effects (no need for projectiles, just that one unit).

Yeah, it has to be two, not one, not three.

Could you add another link, or a note about that thread so people know you can summon units this way?

You might want to add the guides that are listed in the top of the eyecandy thread.

    Done.
Note: I just found this tutorial.
So, people come on, and give me more links. Thank you.

Well, if you're including articles, might as well add Chat Codes. Include in ()'s that you can simply search "chat" for more threads.

Also, not sure about this (you decide), but I made a layout for an exact Kill Counter consisting of three triggers. This one eliminates the problem of killing multiple units at the same time.

    http://www.heavengames.com/cgi-bin/forums/display.cgi?action=ct&f=25,319058,,10]HTML Color Chart

I know what you're thinking. How could an HTML color chart be useful? Well, the effect Fade to Color operates on the same values (RGB). So if you want to know how to get a red fade to color, or a green, or a blue, etc. Just look in here.

    posted 25 October 2004 06:26 PM EDT (US)     20 / 156
Ermm, no offense, but you can simply open up Paint and click on Colors. Then click on Editting Colors, Define ... Button and you should have this:

    Paint's "Color Chart"

Just pick a color, adjust the circled arrow to fit what you want. Then copy the circled numbers.

I got the picture with Prt Sc. How else?

    posted 25 October 2004 07:37 PM EDT (US)     23 / 156
No, I'm not offended. Just didn't notice that. Where does the picture go after you hit "Prt Scr"?
    posted 25 October 2004 07:38 PM EDT (US)     24 / 156
It's just as if you pressed Ctrl+C while typing. It's saved in memory and you can paste it (Edit > Paste) in an image program or Microsoft Word.
